for the project, and active involvement of the tenant organisations
will be encouraged through participation on a Steering Group.
- The project time frame is for the building to be built by December

services being located in close proximity of each other, increasing
the awareness of available services and reducing travel and time
required to access such services.

a result of the close proximity and the clear management structure
which promotes communication and collaboration
- Greater utilization of existing nearby community facilities
- Involvement of a wide range of groups, service providers, government
departments and local community members in the development of
the building promoting community awareness and ownership
- Community groups will benefit from the collaboration between
services, the initiation of joint projects, network development
and resource sharing that is fostered through colocation
- Enhanced accessibility to services by the community due to central
location of the facility, the range of services provided in the
one venue with access for all.
- Enhancement of a model of service delivery that has proven to
work effectively in the Cooloola region
- Prevent the closure of the only limited hours child care facility
in the Cooloola region
